The JCADF Disabled program has two primary dimensions:
  • To provide the poor, disabled children of Liberia with the basics needed to live with dignity. These include:

    • Food
    • Clothing
    • Toiletries (e.g. toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, etc.)
    • Mosquito Nets
    • Medical Care
    • Special Equipment (e.g. wheelchairs, crutches, etc.)
    • Education & School Supplies (pens, pencils, etc.)
  • To educate the parents/guardians of handicapped children in Liberia as well as local people that these children are not “witched” or cursed and can succeed like “normal” children if, instead of abandoning them, they give them their love and dedication.
